I'm Lizzie, a humanist celebrant based in the Scottish Borders, conducting legal weddings throughout Scotland.
I love weddings, particularly the moment when a room full of people who know and love a couple get to hear their story, share laughter and perhaps shed a happy tear or two.
A good ceremony is warm, relaxed and personal.
I take time to get to know the couples I marry, finding out what they love about each other and what marriage means to them.
Then I bring it all together in a ceremony that feels natural, with plenty of heart and just the right amount of humour.

Border Piper:

Sandy has been a piper since the age of 10! He has piped with various bands throughout his piping days.
His work as Border Piper includes, Weddings, Corporate Events, Burns Suppers, Birthdays, Funerals and Presentations.
Any and all types of events played for. He will tailor your needs for that special event, from style of music to type of outfit.

I’m Lynsay, the florist behind Flowers by Forster in Melrose, in the Scottish Borders.
With over 25 years’ floristry experience, I love creating loose, natural wedding flowers full of seasonal colour and texture, using locally grown flowers wherever possible, including some I grow myself.
Helping couples bring their ideas together is one of my favourite parts of the job, whether you have a clear vision or need a little guidance along the way. I’m always happy to talk through the details and suggest ways to make your flowers feel personal to you.
Having had the pleasure of creating the flowers for The Border Barn’s very first wedding, it already holds a special place in my heart, and I’d love to help more couples make it their own.

Our collection includes elegant Chiavari chairs, rustic cross-back chairs, Louis chairs, folding chairs, round banquet tables and rustic trestle tables, with options to suit a wide variety of wedding styles and themes.
We offer a friendly, reliable service, including delivery and collection, and welcome couples to visit our showroom by appointment to explore our range of tables and chairs in person and discuss their wedding requirements.

Vintage Gathering is an event hire company with a difference, from rustic trestle tables and crossback chairs for your dining and ceremony, antique and vintage furniture and props to provide bespoke decor we will work with you to create the most beautiful unique space within your venue.
What we offer is fully flexible, from curated packages and full styling to the hire of individual pieces for you to style yourselves if you're the creative types.
We also supply outdoor seating and barrels. We're also happy to look into sourcing things if you can't see what you're looking for on our site.

I offer bridal styling, hair ups and blow dries for your special day. I also offer hair styling for guests too if capacity allows.
